IDSA Medal

In order to continue its project and accomplish its purpose, in 2011 IDSA promoted and conceived the Instituto de Direito Societário Aplicado Prize: Meeting of Generations (IDSA Medal), innovative initiative in Law that seeks to promote the meeting of two generations around a common goal: foster the study, improvement and dissemination of the Corporate Law.

(i) by awarding young talents below forty one (41) years of age, who have given a significant contribution; and

(ii) by paying homage to the Brazilian Corporate Law professionals who, until the prize date were older than fifty five (55) years of age and are recognized names whose work or performance has marked the development of the Corporate Law and its institutions.

The institute promoted three editions of IDSA Medal. The 1st edition was on May 28, 2012, at Bar des Arts and the one chosen by the Award’s Judging Commission was Prof. Marcelo Vieira von Adamek, who received the award from the hands of the honored Prof. Modesto Carvalhosa.
